Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial and raised platinum Breguet numerals in 1929 and its subsequent sale 12 January 1938, and Patek Philippe brown leather presentation box. Furthermore delivered with a spare silvered dial signed Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, with applied Breguet numerals, however in size not matching the watch.

Fresh to the market, this watch is one of the exceedingly rare examples of a Patek Philippe minute repeating watch cased in platinum to appear in public, furthermore preserved in very good, original overall condition.
