This watch is accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of this watch in 1950 and its subsequent sale on 7 October 1950.

Reference 565 was made in two series, the first with caliber 12'"120, such as this watch, was launched in 1938. Production of the second series featuring centre seconds and a caliber 12 SC movement started in 1942.
