Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial decorated with bouquets in 1918 and its subsequent sale on 25 January 1921. The Extract further states that the watch is ornamented with diamonds and sapphires.

Consigned by a private collector, the present watch has never been offered in public before and is in generally very good and original overall condition considering its age.

For a black and white archival image of a similar watch, possibly the present watch also featuring the same style of textile bracelet, see Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 42, pl. 55.
