Lot Essay

Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture of this watch as 1964 and its subsequent sale on July 30th of the following year.

Patek Philippe commenced production of the reference 570 in 1938 incorporating the caliber 12SC. The second incarnation, of which this present watch is representative, utilized the caliber 27SC which Patek commenced in 1950. The reference 570 is famed and sought after by collectors for its large size "Calatrava" case.
