13''', with nickel-finished lever movement, 23 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, micrometer regulator, movement stamped with the Seal of Geneve, metal dust cap, the two tone silvered dial with applied gold Arabic and baton numerals, gold baton hands, blued steel chronograph hand, outer tachomter scale, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 30 minutes register, the circular water-resistant-type case with screw back (No. 635858), downturned lugs, together with an 18K gold Patek Philippe buckle, Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives and presentation box, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

Production of this model, reference 1463, was launched in 1940. Examples with two tone silvered dials are extremely rare.

Patek Philippe confirm production of this watch in 1944 and its subsequent sale on 1 September 1945.
