Lot Essay

This 16’’’ split-seconds chronograph features a case, dial, and movement all produced for Tiffany & Co. The refined, well preserved, movement is adjusted to 8 positions and finished to Patek Philippe’s highest standards of the era. The case made especially for Tiffany & Co. by Patek Philippe utilizes hidden hinges, an appropriately high level of case making to house such an extraordinary movement.

For another example of a hidden hinge, please see Lot 143 in this sale.
