Lot Essay

Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of sale of this watch as November 10th, 1949.

Over the past thirty years at auction, according to our research, there have been approximately only a dozen examples of the reference 1463 in stainless steel with Breguet numerals. Furthermore, the present watch has never previously appeared at auction. The combination of the rarity of the dial, the condition and the piece's freshness to the market result in a true collector's piece.

For information on the reference 1463 see lot 92.
