This subject was treated by Brébiette in a etching of very similar composition (Le Blanc 101) and in a lost drawing known through a copy now in the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool (J. Thuillier, 'Pierre Brébiette Dessinateur', Hommages au Dessin: Mélanges offerts à Roseline Bacou, Rimini, 1996, p. 303, figs. 7-8).
