For the artists, the human body as a whole _ flesh, hair, and bones glorified to infinite proportions _ becomes not only a faithful evidence of the living thing, but it also possesses the dimension of a paradigm for beauty and, at the same time, a medium of transcendence in itself.

This process has become manifest since their early years (more specifically since the revealing of Adam et Eve in 1981), and has been reaffirming throughout their career ever after, with variations only in intention and tone. In this way, it is possible to witness the ever-changing outlines that define the human body Pierre et Giles have created. From the notions of the human body understood as an object of cult and reverence (Bubbles Shower, 1997).
