We can compare the interior of the present work with that of a Qajar painting from the school of Abu'l Hassan Ghaffari depicting a pair of embracing lovers that sold in these Rooms, 23 October 2007, lot 192. The similarity between jaunty angles at which the windows are set to the attention to detail given to the stained glass around the central panes and the curved steel handles, indicates that the artists are either the same or were possibly trained in the same atelier.
