Lot Essay

"When Harmony began to see light, I was working from a rooftop in the City of Aley1. That rooftop overviewed the multi-cultural city of Beirut, which with the deep childhood memories of the Beqaa Valley mixed with the direct sunlight, constituted the basic factors which created this artwork. Harmony is a reflection of our richness, which is manifested in our cultural diversity. The factor that is holding the different elements of the artwork together, can be assimilated to an invisible adhesive, similar to the black matter. This element is the spirit of the great East, which with the force or strength coming from our diversity, makes the famous Lebanese mythology immortal and forever unified."
