2 parts in one volume, 8o (164 x 100 mm). (Some light dampstaining, the first leaf of each quire signed in ink, later pencil notations throughout.) Contemporary calf-backed marbled boards (spine and edges worn).

Rawlinson (1681-1725), the eldest son of Sir Thomas Rawlinson, Lord Mayor of London, amassed one of the largest private libraries ever formed. The above volume contains Parts III and V of the sale catalogues; only two complete sets of all sixteen sale catalogues are known (Bodleian and British library). The sales lasted from 4 December, 1721 to 4 March, 1734, each sale occupying between fifteen and thirty days. De Ricci, p. 45-46; Taylor, pp. 45-46.
