Polished calf gilt by Riviere, gilt edges (head of spine chipped, somewhat rubbed, bookplate removed). Provenance: William Medcalfe (inscription on frontispiece, dated 1720).

Fifth edition. Though reduced in overall length, the account of tennis still features the popular poem on 'The Tennis-Court'. Westwood & Satchell p.110; cf. Schwerdt I, p.225 (first edition).
