[The Ferus Gallery] was an incredibly nurturing situation and some quite spectacular things came out of it. Some people were nurtured by it in kind of a secondary way--Dennis Hopper and Frank Gehry, for instance, were very much a part of the dialogue we were having" (B. Irwin as quoted in K.
