Perhaps Queen Maria Cristina of Sardinia (1779-1849), according to an inventory label on the frame stamped 'Casa di S.M. la Regina Maria Cristina' with inscription 'n. 12. M.C.' on the frame.
Perhaps Ferdinand, Duke of Genoa (1822-1855), son of King Carlo Alberto of Sardinia, according to an inventory label on the frame stamped 'S.A.R. il Duca di Genova' with inscription 'No 40.'.
