Lot Essay

John Dawson Duckett Esq. (1791-1866) of Ducketts Grove, Co. Carlow. could trace his lineage back to William the Conqueror and was 22nd in direct descent from Edward I. He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford and became Magistrate and High Sheriff of Co. Carlow.
