FIRST EDITION. Apart from its importance as an anatomical work, Santorini's Septemdecim tabulae is noteworthy as the only significant medical book printed by Giambattista Bodoni. Choulant pp. 262-264; Garrison-Morton 399.1; Heirs of Hippocrates 788; Norman 1888.
