SEVEN NEAR EASTERN CYLINDER SEALS
circa late 3rd-early 2nd millennium b.c.
Including an Early Akkadian haematite seal engraved with a hero battling a stag and a lion, and another hero battling a bull; an Akkadian serpentine seal with a worshipper before a standing deity; a Persian Gulf haematite seal with a winged deity framed by two standing worshippers; an Akkadian haematite seal with three standing worshippers before a seated figure; and three Old Assyrian haematite seals, including one with two worshippers and a standing animal before a seated figure; and two with two standing figures before a bull on an altar
