Lot Essay

Douglas Crockatt was director of the dry-cleaners, Johnsons (1961-1984). Following a distinguised career in the Royal Navy, he was a magistrate, Vice Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire and was awarded both the OBE and MBE.
