Woodcut Janus device on last page (top margins cut close at the beginning with many headlines partially or fully cropped, a little light browning and waterstaining). Later 16th-century vellum, later red label on spine (lacks ties). Provenance: Johannes Behem (near contemporary signature on title) - Fesendorff, 1577 (Signature on back paste-down) - Bibliothek Grissrring (19th-century inscription on title) - L.A. Burd (armorial bookplate). With part I only, as often found, and without the scholia by Joachim Camerarius. This fourth Greek edition of Sophocles' plays is uncommon.
