The youthful saint on a robust, white horse, wearing shining, opulent armour, a red cape and a helmet with feathers together with his halo, plunging his long spear into the mouth of the winged serpent, at the left the rescued princess Elisaba kneeling in prayer as she witnesses the event, the landscape rendered naturalistically, the composition executed with bright colours
