Représenté assis, sa patte antérieure droite retenant un cartouche en forme d'écusson et portant l'inscription 'LEGGITIME CERTANTIBUS', devise de l'Empereur Ferdinand II (d. 1619); reposant sur une base entièrement moulée, et sur un piédestal associé orné de marbre; petits accidents et usure à la dorure

Depicted seated and with his right paw supporting an armorial cartouche inscribed 'LEGGITIME CERTANTIBUS', the motto of German Emperor Ferdinand II (r. 1612-1619); on an integrally cast plinth and associated square marble panelled pedestal; minor damages and wear to gilding
