The first depicting a chick emerging from its shell, inscribed with a red seal Kogyoku; the second depicting a recumbent duck, turning his head to look over his wings, eyes inlaid in horn, inscribed Tora; the third depicting a swallow, inscribed Yasutake; the fourth depicting a stylized fukurasuzume, the eyes inlaid in dark horn; the fifth in the form of a resting rat holding a fish, eyes inlaid in dark horn; the sixth depicting a seated dog scratching its chin, the eyes inlaid in dark horn; the seventh depicting a goldfish, the eyes inlaid in horn, inscribed Washo; the eighth depicting three toads sitting on a large lotus leaf; the ninth depicting a group of six rats climbing on a pumpkin; the tenth depicting a seated kirin, inscribed Kogyoku
