To commemorate the Success of the Surrey County Eleven during the Season 1864. Original poster design in gouache and pen on board, subscribed "F. Burridge Esqre Captn. Henry Marshall Esqre President. W. Burrup Esqr, Hon. Sect", lettering in various colours and on various grounds including gold, red, blue and a dominant white, the word "Success" with cricketing figures and foliate decoration between the letters, the title surrounded with an oval montage of portrait photographs, each within circular gold frame, two pairs of larger circles list "Matches Played 8 won 1 lost 5 drawn" and "Players Scores & Their Averages", between the pair of circles at head a smaller medallion with Prince of Wales feathers above cricket trophies and legend: "Let cricket flourish all the world round", another medallion at foot subscribed: "Designed and illuminated by T.G. Attwood, Brixton, Surrey", 930 x 620mm. (light rubbing causing slight loss of lettering in "Matches Played", photo of F.P. Miller lacking).

BOTH A RARE SURVIVAL AND A FASCINATING EXAMPLE OF 19TH-CENTURY ILLUMINATION COMBINED WITH THE NEW MEDIUM OF PHOTOGRAPHY. The players are "J. Brurridge, E. Dowson, H.H. Stephenson, W. Mortlock, H. Jupp, T. Humphrey, Julius Caesar, T. Lockyer, E. Pooley, G. Griffith, T. Sewell, W. Shephered, F.P. Miller & six others played".
