THANGKA REPRESENTANT PEHAR
TIBET, XVIIIEME SIECLE
Pehar is riding the white lion and his six arms radiate around his body while his hands hold the prescribed attributes. He is wearing various garments and his head is composed of three ferocious looking faces. He is surrounded by four other members of the Damcan group and various diminutive local divinities. The upper register is showing Atisha flanked by the stupa and container; brocade mounting.
