The central image focuses on Christ's Descent into Hell and Anastasis and is complemented by the events of his Passion to the upper right corner. Twelve images which include episodes from the lives of the Virgin and Christ, as well as the Old Testament Trinity and the Raising of the True Cross surround the main scene. Additionally, four family saints are depicted on the borders.
The colours employed are intense and gold is used for the background.
