Lot Essay

The Beatles' appearance on the same bill as Little Richard was an important one for them - three weeks after the release of their first single Love Me Do/P.S. I Love You, it was their first appearance at the Empire, Liverpool, and their first "pop package show" with two separate houses on the same night.
