Posters from Universal Studio's horror films of the 1930s are the most highly sought after of all vintage film posters. In fact the original U.S. version of the poster for this film sold for $450,000 in March this year. The second highest price realised for a film poster is that for Frankenstein, $180,000. The original Swedish poster for The Mummy on offer here is one of four known copies and has never been seen at a major auction before.
