The vendor's recalls how his father who worked for LIFE arranged for him to meet The Who ...Knowing how much it meant to me, he arranged for backstage visits to meet The Who on some of their first US appearances. Pete laughed when he saw that I was wearing a Union Jack blazer my dad had made for me in Lodon, in honor of his, but backwards so the cross was in front. They were nice enough to pose for me, let me hang around, and talk to me about their songs...I experienced a dream come true (especially cool since I was an aspiring drummer who idolized Keith Moon, Mitch Mitchell and Ginger Baker)...
