Lot Essay

James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) launches the Q Jet Boat from the MI6 offices via a torpedo chute and chases after a villain in a Sunseeker speedboat, dipping underwater at one point before taking off outside the Millennium Dome and launching 007 onto a rope dangling from a hot air balloon. Boat builder Doug Riddle constructed a racing machine with a V8 engine offering 300bhp. Riddle Marine constructed a total of fifteen boats for the sequence. This original boat was used in the majority of the chase sequence.

This boat is an SFX version rigged with an opening weapon hatch at the front.
