An autograph collection compiled between circa 1935-1971, the majority of the 450 signatures dedicated to Eric Johns, a few on individual album pages including: Mae West - Come up and see me some time and love and 'kisses' from Carmen Miranda; majority signed throughout 122 pages of an autograph album, subjects include: Anna May Wong [beside an ink portrait of the artist in another's hand], Margaret Rutherford, Basil Dean, Charles Laughton, Herbert Lom, Richard Burton (2), Danny Kaye (2), Gladys Cooper, Vivien Leigh, Sybil Thorndike, Flora Robson, Peggy Ashcroft, Anthony Quayle, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Robert Bolt, Frederick Ashton, Donald Swan and Michael Flanders, Joan Sutherland, Léonide Massine, Sheila Hancock, John Mills, Laurence Harvey, Eric Porter, Cecil Beaton, Ingrid Bergman, Ivor Novello, John Gielgud, Vanessa Redgrave, Michael Redgrave, Celia Johnson, Ellen Terry, Honor Blackman, Eli Wallach, Laurence Olivier, Joan Plowright, Anton Dolin, John Gilpin, Joan Sutherland, Clive Brook, Stanley Baxter, Harry Secombe, Benny Hill, Anna Massey, Eric Porter and Sam Wanamaker; and two black and white publicity photographs, one of Mae West the other of Eva Turner, both signed by subjects in blue ink, the former -- 3x2½in. 7.5x6.4cm.), contained in an autograph album -- 7x9½in.
