The first decorated in gold, black and red takamaki-e and inlaid in mother-of-pearl with shells on a nashiji ground, black lacquer interior; the second decorated in gold and silver hiramaki-e and takamaki-e, kirikane and nashiji and inlaid in mother-of-pearl, with a monk beside a waterfall, dense nashiji interiors, fundame rims; the third decorated in carved black and red lacquer and inlaid in cowhorn with Chinese-style figures at leisure, dense nashiji interiors
