ENGLISH, CIRCA 1780
one depicting a figural scene from antiquity within a white scrollwork border against a blue ground, the sides with cartouches depicting architectural studies -- 8.5cms; another depicting a hunting scene, the sides painted with floral reserves -- 7.8cms; and the third, the sides, cover and interior cover painted with fruit and floral cartouches -- 9cms.
