Two signed Haruyama, Meiji Period (Late 19th Century)
Comprising a standing figure of a fisherman, a full basket of fish on his shoulder, a pitchfork in his hand, 29.5 cm. high; a standing figure of a monkey-trainer, the monkey seated on his right shoulder trying to steal the pomegranate that the trainer is holding in his left hand, 27.2 cm. high; and a figure of a musician with two instruments, a large straw hat on his head, 30.6 cm. high; overall some minor old damage and age cracks, one base restored (3)
