Lot Essay

One engraved with supplicant and deity, the three lines of cuneiform reading 'Nin-Subur, wise in all things, have mercy on me'. The second with four standing figures: a supplicant with hands raised, a bearded male carrying a staff, a war goddess with foot resting on an animal, quivers filled with arrows on her back, and a nude hero. The third with three standing figures, one holding a lightening fork and leading a calf, a male worshipper, and a supplicant wearing a long fringed robe, with two lines of cuneiform reading 'Mar-Istar, servant of Ammuru'
