THREE UNDERGLAZE COPPER-RED-DECORATED BLUE AND WHITE SNUFF BOTTLES
JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1820-1890
The first bottle, 1820-1880, is decorated with a phoenix standing on a rock surrounded by bats and next to a large peony bloom. The second bottle, 1840-1890, depicts a fierce three-clawed dragon amidst clouds. The third bottle, 1830-1880, is decorated with mythological animals including a dragon, flying horse, phoenix and Buddhist lion.
2 5/8, 2 ¾ and 3 1/8 in. (6.6, 7 and 8 cm.) high, stone, jadeite, and glass stoppers.
