The series Life and Death in Hackney explores the edges of Hunter's urban landscape, searching for the beauty in places left abandoned and decaying. Inspired by Pre-Raphaelite painting, The Way Home tells the story of a friend who had fallen into the canal on a drunken bike ride, only to wake-up, safe and floating on her back in the water. Hunter's work has been widely exhibited and is held in many corporate and institutional collections, including LaSalle National Bank, Chicago; The Hirshhorn Museum, Washington DC; and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
