Tripolis 1937 - 39: Hermann Lang's original cloth racing helmet; worn and used in achieving each of his three victories in succession in North Africa in three different cars; the types W156 (5.4 litre) W154 (3 litre) and W165 (1.5 litre) Grand Prix Cars: White linen with soft cotton lining, elasticated neck and button down ear pieces; mounted in glazed frame and displayed with a wax seal, together with an inset picture of the driver scrutinising it in the pits during practice in the 1937 event.
