CIRCA 7TH-8TH CENTURY A.D. AND LATER
Each with suspension loop and decorated with punched concentric circles, 3 in. (7.6 cm.) high max.; and a group of Byzantine bronze weights including seven multi-faceted weights, each side with punched circular decoration, ¾ in. (2 cm.) high max.; a truncated barrel-shaped weight, top and bottom with punched circles, ½ in. (1.4 cm.) diam; a 2 nomismata square coin weight, 5/8 in. (1.5 cm.) square; two 1 nomismata square coin weights, ½ in. (1.4 cm.) square max.; and a 1 nomismata round coin weight, ¾ in. (2 cm.) diam., all 6th-12th Century A.D.(a lot)
