Two bronze figures entitled "Le Reve" and "Captive"
Cast after the model by Hippolyte Moreau, French, late 19th/early 20th Century
Each with a young woman sitting on an integrally cast naturalistic base incised Hip. Moreau, stamped with the foundry mark of SOCIETE DES BRONZES DE PARIS, one numbered 413, the other 197, mounted on a circular waisted plinth with inscription shield LE REVE/Hippolyte MOREAU/Salon des Beaux-Arts - 81cm. and 85cm. high; And a pair of black painted pedestals with a reeded circular shaft above a square plinth - each 56.5cm. high (4)
