Two Coalport plates, two Chinese porcelain plates and two English plates
18th and early 19th centuries, the Coalport plates with black script to the reverse
The first two plates each painted with an Oriental, titled to the reverse 'A Porter with Fire Wood' and 'A Man striking a small Gong during an Eclipse' within an iron-red border painted with vignettes of Orientals within shaped gilt-edged panels (one with small chip to footrim, some surface wear), the Chinese porcelain plates painted in the Imari palette (minor damages), and a pair of English porcelain plates painted with flowers
The first plates 8½ in. (21.6 cm.) and 8 3/8 in. (21.3 cm.) diam. (6)
