The smaller of globular form rising to a strait, slender neck, enameled with scrolling crysanthemum on a blue ground below bands of lappets, foliage and repeating waves at the neck, base signed; the other vase of globular form raised on a high splayed foot and rising to a trumpet neck, painted overall with Hotei in various positions and dress, the ribbed foot and neck with floral decorated elongated lappet bands facing shield bands and keyfret borders
