The smaller brushpot finely incised with a scene of a massive elephant with a group of five attendants in a rocky landscape, the reverse with two inscriptions, one bearing a date corresponding to 1640; the larger brush pot slightly waisted and incised with figures at leisure in a rocky garden setting, the reverse with a couplet: 'Moving clouds reflected on the calm waters/Deep in the forest a quiet stillness may be heard'; together with a small ivory hexagonal box and cover, 18th/19th century, incised with various blossoming floral sprays on the top of the cover and on the sides; and a large ivory official's hu tablet, 17th/18th century
