The first forged with a prominent chin and flanges on the cheeks, fitted with a three-lame lacquered-leather throat guard of false scales, laced in blue and attached with stencilled leather; the second lacquered black with deep wrinkles, the hinged nose piece applied with a stiff-bristle moustache, iron solid-plate three-lame throat guard lacquered black (2)
