Two Meissen figures of Cupid in Disguise
Circa 1930, blue crossed swords and dot marks, incised 2. and 10., Pressnummer 111 and 42, one with painter's black 34.
The first modelled as Cupid disguised as a singer, wearing purple coat and white shirt, modelled standing before a tree stump holding a score in his right hand, the second modelled as Cupid disguised as an artist, wearing blue hat and mauve yellow-lined cloak, modelled standing holding an easel in his left hand and a paint-brush in his right, both on shaped oval bases (the first with both hands broken off and restuck and small chip, the second with the easel broken off and restuck, the end of the paint-brush chipped, tiny chip to hat)
