TWO QUR'AN MANUSCRIPTS, KASHMIR, NORTH INDIA, 19TH CENTURY
Manuscript on paper, each written in black naskh, one with 15ll. the other with 17ll. to the page, gold roundels bwtweeen verses, sura headings in white or red, each with typical illuminated bifolia at start, the smaller manuscript also with illumination at the mid point and the end of the manuscript, larger with modern gold textile covered binding, smaller with tooled red morocco binding- 7½ x 4¾in. (19 x 12cm.) and 7¼ x 4½in. (18.2 x 11cm.) (2)
