Lot Essay

The present pendant watch was produced by the French Vacheron Constantin workshop between the 70's and 80's. This model was produced in a large variation of setting and decoration. By combining the highly complex skeleton movement with a sophisticated mother of pearl mosaic dial and the highly jeweled diamond-set case, this desirable pendant watch is a beautiful example of the uncountable “savoir-faire” within the celebrated manufacture.

A similar model is illustrated in “Treasures of Vacheron Constantin, A Legacy of Watchmaking since 1755”, Edition Hazan, Paris, 2011, on page 151.
