Album of 433 albumen prints, the majority carte-de-visite-size or smaller with eighty-two larger to approx. 8¾ x 11¼ in., variously trimmed and mounted with ink manuscript captions, occasional dates and sitters' signatures, some plates with additional watercolour sketches or borders, green morocco (rubbed), ruled gilt, gilt stamp of C. E. Clifford 30 Piccadilly inside front cover, 4to.

Members of the Campbell family and friends at Eton, in the 72nd. Highlanders, the Bengal Cavalry and the Royal Navy, with masters and fellow students at Eton and Oxford. Also including a few overseas subjects with an unusual view of a cafe in Capri advertising the sale of antiquities and photographs.
