Lot Essay

In 1964 Weegee's Creative Photography was published through Ward, Lock, and Co. in London. Soon after, Weegee began creating the layout for Volume II but unfortunately became too ill to finish the book. The four prints date from the mid 1940s through the 1950s and were printed prior to 1955.
