Original printed yellow wrappers, front wrapper carrying title (removed from binding; spine worn, front cover with several tears and ink number in one corner, bookplate and electronic tag concealing parts of the advertisement on lower cover). Provenance: marginalia in a contemporary hand.

VERY RARE, issued only to purchasers of the artist's proof. The description of the 72 identifiable people in the print concludes with an invitation to 'Gentlemen desirous of enjoying practice, or engaging in matches during the season' to join the Brighton Cricket Club.
